Going to sync the carbs and have noticed there is no vacuum bung on number 3 manifold. Is this right. Whats the procedure to balance the carbs. ThanksTags: None

You need a "bung" on each manifold in order to vacuum sync.
BTW, a more descriptive title would be helpful.Ed

You are looking for the allan bolts on the bottom/side of the intake rubbers, as your sync ports.

vacuum ports
there are 3 allen headed bungs on manifolds ( 1-2-4 ) none on 3 port. I have the carbs off and can see clearly.

Hi Mr. stony,
It's possible a previous owner shoved the wrong boot in there just to get the thing going.
