rejetting for hardley pipes. Looking for suggestions.

I recieved a reply from Nessism about keeping my headers and replacing the mufflers. I was told to find stock hardley mufflers. I found a set of screamin' eagle slip-ons for a killer price($20). For rejetting does anyone know a where abouts range to start with? I want to start by going up 1-2 on the main but not sure about the pilot.

You may not even need to bump the pilots...

Run the thing and see how it reacts. Plug chops will be your friend if you really want to nail the carb set.

A good seat of the pants dyno will get you close.

How do those SE pipes compare to stock HD pipes? If they have a through baffle they will flow more than your old GS pipes and may require more extensive rejetting compared to some stock Harley pipes. Another thing is if you keep the stock airbox the rejetting mods will be much less than if you change to pods.

Good pickup by the way on the $20 mufflers. God bless those noise loving Harley guys.

I will be staying with the airbox. I can't stand pods. I know some love them but I don't like the look. Hopefully the pipes will be on tomorrow. I am pickin um up 'night.
