So I ended up just getting the OEM petcock, which, btw, comes with the gasket. I had ordered a second gasket, which is now available for anyone who might need one.

Z1 was great about the refund on the other petcock.

The petcock job was a fairly easy replacement. I used some silicone gasket maker on the screws when I installed it, as well as a couple of gasket washers that were on the screws.

I put in a new fuel line with a new clamp on it.

So far, no leaks from the petcock and no leaks from the carbs, which was the problem I was having that prompted me to replace the petcock in the first place.

I took a short ride today and felt a bit of bogging down, like I was not getting a good fuel flow, or like I was having a vacuum leak somewhere.

But the problem went away as I rode. When I got back though, I found that the balance port on the no. 4 intake boot was really loose.. I tightened it up.
We'll see how things go on my ride in to work tomorrow morning.

      Thanks for the help.
