    83 1100e choke cable removal

I would like to remove the choke cable at the carbs so I can do some work on the bench. I can't get end (is it called a ferule in this configuration?) of the cable out. There are two pieces that look like they should rotate WRT each other, but they won't rotate.
    Thanks in advance.

Push the first clip, the one that traps the cable, toward the left side of the bike. Lift the cable to clear and rotate the clip so it doesn't capture the cable. Then you can push the ball end out of it's retainer... If you have problems, call me it's hard to explain what I'm trying to say.. Lol

Got it. Thanks Josh, I failed to notice that one piece was spring loaded. I had even gone so far as to start to remove the choke bar, but it did not make any sense.
It did not help that my GENUINE SUZUKI SERVICE MANUAL (its a real copy, not a duplicate or PDF) did not even show the correct configuration.
