    Slingshot Mikuni Carbs

I have acquired a rack of the 38mm "slingshot" Mikuni carbs as used on the 1993 GSXR1100. Would they be a performance upgrade to stock carbs on a 82-83 GS1100E or a GS1150? How do they compare to the RS series Mikuni's?

NO vacuum carbs compares to RS series mikuni's.
you can't compare vacuum to mechanicals..
        at least performance built mechanicals.

I use the 38mm GSXR carbs on my 83 Katana 1260.It goes like a bat out of hell.Alot easier to tune than the 36 flatslides on my 1100e and have more punch.
