    Rubber tipped needles

Anybody here tried looking for rubber tipped fuel inlet needles that would work in the BS32 carbs? I'm replacing all four needle and seat assemblies in my carbs (don't believe in just replacing the needles) and the thought occurred to me. You would then only ever need to replace needles since the seats should never wear.

    Appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks,

    Damian

Thanks Chuck. Any ideas on a part number? I don't see rubber tip options on either site for CV type carbs. I suppose a call to them would confirm whether something is available.

      Cheers,

Don't be too sure about them not wearing, they do eventualy get the tell tale ring around the seating surface, nothing lasts forever.
That said, they are long wearing though, and they will last you for many years.
But then again, my brass tipped ones have lasted me for years too, if there is a great price difference, or a PIA getting them, I would just go wih the stock brass ones.
