I don't think so. One looked like it was stored on the bottom of the ocean. Another is physically cracked in several places and the third I didn't INspect that closely by the guy that I got it from said he stripped and broke the pilot screws. I just got the bike and I'm trying to get a jump on carbs so I can get it running. But I will sit down with them and see what I can do before I buy anything

With three sets you should be able to find most of the parts you need. Once you take inventory you might want to post an ad in the Parts Wanted forum to fill out your set.

I'm pretty sure that short of ACTUALLY storing a set at the bottom of the ocean (salt water would be pretty corrosive) these carbs clean up real nice... Also broken pilot screws can be fixed... probably easily.

ok i came home and looked at them again....one set is so corroded I cannot begin to describe it. the other set has three out of the four carbs cracked. Now i dont know what you would call it where it is cracked but it does not unbolt from the carb, it is part of it. and the third set....again not sure what it is called but when you hold the set a certain way looking down on them there is an adjustment screw for wach one. the two in the middle have the heads broken off. If somebody wants these carbs I will gladly give you all three for a set that is complete and no physical damage. If it needs a rebuild or cleaning thats fine but I dont want to put the work into the ones I have. Also can anybody tell me what carbs I am looking for when trying to get new ones? Is it just 1980 GS 550 or any other years or models.
                thanks

GS 550, 650, 750 and 850 from 1980 all used the same basic carbs.
