Viola! Condensers it was! Got them in the mail today and installed them at lunch time... running on all 4 cylinders is way better than 2!!!
With all this extra power, it feels like the clutch might be slipping a bit (at higher RPMs). Currently looking to see if I can adjust it or if a replacement is needed.

Good deal......chock up another problem solved by the good gurus of the GS forum. This is a great place to get m/c problems solved.Larry

Just had to adjust the freeplay on the clutch... Now I have a real, live functioning motorcycle! Thanks for all your responses!
