Aftermarket Exhaust 79 GS 1000E
Need advise. I am ready to replace my original "rusty" exhaust on my 79 GS 1000E. I love the dual pipe look and am very pleased with the relatively quite baffles. I priced getting my originals re-chromed but it would cost over $600 plus I would be responsible for removing the baffles and cleaning them. I would like to buy new but I don't want to spend OEM prices to do so. I also would prefer to not have to re-jet my carbs. I am open to suggestions.Tags: None

Hi,
There's a short list of aftermarket exhaust vendors in your "mega-welcome". Do a little shopping. Some have a 4 into 2 configuration that is much like stock. But I don't know if you'll find anything in your budget.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
