Air Intake boots

I have a 79 GS 1000E and have already purchased the new intake boots and "O' rings for the intake from the carbs to the engine. However, I am having difficulty finding the boots boots from the Air Cleaner box to the carbs. Does anyone have advice?

Suzuki never sold the airbox to carb boots for the bikes fitted with VM carbs (like yours) and I've not come across anyone making pattern parts. They were only sold as part of the complete front part of the airbox. Your options are to find a good used airbox with soft boots, fit pods or manufacture something yourself

I thought that might be the unfortunate case. If I fit pods, I imagine I will have to do a re-jet on the carbs? Thanks for your reply.
