Where to measure float level on 450
Ok so I have the bs34ss carbs in my 81 450, and I'm in the process of cleaning them/reassembly. I'm trying to check the float level, but I'm not sure what spot in the float im supposed to measure too. The guide on BassCliff's site is for different carbs using different floats. Mine look like these:

Measure from the carb body where the float bowl attaches (without the gasket) to the top of the float disc.

thank you very much. I thought that might have been the correct way, but when I measured it, i got 27.3mm. My bike is supposed to be at 23mm (+/-1mm). So I guess my floats are just way off then

Just bend the metal bit to adjust them. Make sure you measure both sides to keep them level.
Then do a wet test with the tube/plug tool to confirm the height.
