As I was reading through the guide in the garage section I noticed that I have an extra gang rail from the walkthrough. I was just wondering if this is the guide I should be following? Not worried about having to remove a few extra screws obviously, but this is my first carb rebuild so I just want to make sure I am looking at the right thing.

Carbs to be rebuilt
Took some pictures today of my carbs before cleaning and rebuilding:

Yes, just follow the tutorial on the GSR home page. And check this info to make sure you don't snap off any float posts...

Yep, that's your bottom rail. Be sure to use a #3 Philips in your impact driver to remove those screws, then be sure to remember to put that deflector back on between #1 and #2 when you put them back together. Without that deflector, the clutch cable can get caught in the throttle linkage and things can get real interesting REALLY quick.

Had his girlfriend on the back, we had met at a shop where he was looking to get some stuff, then took the long way home. He called me to have me bring the trailer down to get the bike. He at least had the presence of mind to hit the kill switch and pull the clutch and roll to a stop on the (very narrow) shoulder.
