    Air Pods Question

If I switch to PODS but leave the exhasut the same do I need to Re jet the carbs? My bike is a 1982 GS650g. Thank you

    Hi,

Yes. Pod filters usually have a bigger effect on airflow than a lot of aftermarket exhausts.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

    BassCliff

You might be able to raise the needles, mine are raised but I'm still lean.

I have a set of K&N Pods that are 54mm if they fit, for sale.

How do find out if they fit?

          Good question!

I don't remember how I found out on mine. You could measure the intake opening on the carb body and see but not sure how accurate it is.

          BassCliff... or someone... help.

Yeah, measure the OD of the carb where the pod would go. It will be really close to one of the standard sizes pods are offered in. There is not much flex in the rubber, so don't go thinking you can buy a size too small and stretch it to fit.

If you have 32mm carbs they will fit.
