    Lean plugs in BA

Carb gurus please have a look at Chris' (Shirazdrum) thread here.

He's in Buenos Aires, with lean white plugs on his new engine. I've given the best advice I can there, which means you need to go correct me.

Does he have any idea how much ethanol is in fuel down there? Brazil is heavily into ethanol production and perhaps they sell it to their neighbors.

According to Wikipedia, Brazil requires 25% ethanol in gasoline. This I believe is significant and could be why Chris holed his pistons. I would think you would need to raise needles and up mains to compensate. How much, I don't know. Should we ask the performance group, maybe they have had experience with elevated ethanol levels.
