If you are talking about the 'intake bolts', that bolt the carb rack onto the head, then yes you can put some 'anti-seize' on the thread, I always do. If you're talking about the carb float bowls then no, there is no need. My money is one the intake bolts, and regular will work just fine.Rob

As far as the silver/copper issue, I was told that you use the copper if you are putting steel screws into aluminum.
Use the silver everywhere else.
