Hey Chuck, forgive me for my stupidity, but the main jets pictured on Z1's website look way different then mine. Which may be ok i guess that why i am asking. My 107.5 that are currently in there ressemble the pilot jets in they are longer and have the tiny holes drilled in the bottom.

That tube is the emulsion tube..look at the end..see the thing with the screwdriver slot? hold the nut with the wrench and remove the jet from the tube. take a small wire and poke out all those holes and rinse in some carbs spray and then blow out with your compressor.

Got them off the tube then..i am assuming....whats the conditions of the orings on the tubes? Did you getb the oring kit from Cycleorings? It has all the orings for the entire carb rebuilds.

Yeah I ordered the the kit from them. When i took the carbs apart they were missing half of the o-rings and the other half crumbled. They defintaely needed to be replaced. This bike should love me when i get finished. lol

Speaking of carbs I have 125 main jets with the need up one notch and i'm a little on the rich side I'm thinking about taking my muffler off (4 to 1 exhaust & pods). I have 127 jets would I be ok? I just want more side clearance. Can I just get a baffle to replace the megaphone muffler? Also, I'm taking the bike out to California.

BTW my bike came with 102.5 main and 15 pilot jets.

Well if you have seen my Carb mechanic wanted thread the ones i took out of my stock bike..which were wrong for my setup are supposed to be more to the 4 into 1 liking. My computer is on the fritz, so if you get this just call and leave me a message..I will give you the jets and pilots ofr free. In the mean time review that thread. I took them forever to finally get thru to me but when it all clickd it worked as planned Pay special attention to the post by The Cafe Kid thatb talks about the 4 into 1 application.. The jets i will pass along are the 110 main jet and the 17.5 pilot jets. your for the taking if you want them call me..248 219 4122

Andrew..If they arent VM 26s and you bought the stock size jets for a 26, remember to keep your new ones and put what was in there originally back.. youll need the stock ones for the right carbs!!
