And there is not an area like that on the other side of that one or any other ones..right? Well thats not any VM 26 that i am familiar with..Measuer the engine side like i said when you called..Got my curiosity going now!! The measurement will tell the story.

No, the other side looks completely different. I wish i had something that i could measure with right now. But, am i safe to assume that nothing but the VM26 will work? obviously if they were too small they wouldn't work i guess.

wonder if they are race type carbs, with the idle circuit and pilot fuel circuit combined.
the tower on the bottom is too short and the fuel screw in it is knurled like it was meant to be adjusted frequently by hand.
(edit) possibly off a snowmobile or 2cycle bike

at any rate thats not a stock 77 750b vm26, although that doesnt mean it wasnt stock on something else.

Yeah me too. I have everything new to get these thigs back together, but no sense if they are not going to work on my bike. On the other hand they are 26's. I wish someone could just tell me.

No. Those are stock. Some ass hat has installed aftermarket fuel screws becaus the OEM screws are NLA. Your pilot jet is too big if youre running a stock pipes and airbox set up. Those screws are incorrect. Get rid of them. Someone here has some for you I'm sure. Maybe me. But you'll have to wait till I get moved to find em if no one can help you. Those screws are for VM28 pumpers or 29 smoothbores. Check that the point hasn't broken off in the body.

So your saying those are VM 26s..So where are the air screws at? Thats what has me puzzled. Dont look like the VM 26s i am used to. Anyways he has soaked them and done all the work up to this point.. I think he may need your insights here.

Good catch. Those may in fact be VM28 pumpers. I'd have to see the rest of the rack. Do they have an accelerator pump? Is there something odd hanging off the bottom of em? Bodies on all three are nearlythe same. But you're right. No air screws
