    Place to get Needles/seats?

Been looking for oem replacement needle and seats for my 77 750..I sent bike bandit an email but they have yet to get back to me..(so much for their quick answer time)...Ive tried the k&L stuff and its junk to put it bluntly..springs in the needles arent nearly as strong as the OEM Mikuini needles..i didnt replace them in 09 when I rebuilt the entire bike..i chucked the seats up in the lathe and turned them to create a clean mating surface for the needles...but this year i'd like to replace them all with new OEM sets..I believe if memeory serves me right the number is 2.3 on the seat..anyone have any outlets for these? Thanks!

That is literally the first negative thing I have ever seen posted about Z1, but I sadly have to agree.

K&L Kits are Krap. Carbs, carb parts, brake kits, petcock kits -- all garbage. Rather dangerous garbage, in some cases. I've learned this through bitter, bitter personal experience. I have no idea why otherwise respectable vendors still carry K&L's junk.

With that said, I would bet that if you email or call Z1 and nicely tell the folks that you want genuine Mikuni bits, they would find them for you fast and at an excellent price.

There is the guy in Oz or NZ on eBay that sells needles and seats, and those are good parts -- I have a set in my GS850 now. No idea where he gets them.

Or, you could order new bits from your favorite Suzuki vendor. They will be genuine Mikuni parts.
