    Air box boots 79 1000 L

Are there any other replacements for air box boots to the carbs. I have been to a dealer and they are discontinued, hooooooray for me. The ones I have are pretty much shot, They have shrunk in length and with the air box unbolted I can't get them to stretch over far enough to get a good fit. Two are good but two aren't. Is there another set that anyone knows of that will fit. This is 79 1000L will another set work, I want to keep it stock.
I thought of using some other tubing but searching other threads fuel fumes will slowly soften and make them useless.
    Any ideas?

yes this hearkens us again to find a means of molding rubber bits like this.
makes yah go from having a sweet ride to owning a two wheeled scrap heap.

Any injection molders here? or is that moulder.

well I will shoot these guys a request for a quote or at least to get the process down.

I am sure that its pricy up front but if they get to keep the molds and the right to produce more than they should thank you after all by asking them to make one for your bike that is discontimued you are making them aware of a potential ( if small ) market niche.

Good idea, I'll look around. I wonder if not is there any silicon large tubing I could use?
