Use heat and PB Blaster. Get a blade screwdriver that fits TIGHT into the slot in the screw. Grind down an old screwdriver blade to get a tight fit if necessary. What ever you do, do NOT strip out the slot in the screw or you will be forced to butcher the tower that the screw sits down inside. Take your time and don't forget the heat.Ed

Its protected at the base with an o ring, the screw is extremely long and the tube doesn't have threads until half way down so you are not risking damaging the threads by cutting or future air leaks.

I ahd a stuck air screw, and MR Tim twr1776 squirted some Seafoam Deep Creep in there. A half hour later I could move it some and a few more minutes it was turning freely.
So I got a can of that, although its about $12, when the other penitrating oil is only $5.
Other recomendation is to make sure you have a well fitting screw driver. Best get one just for that that purpose.
