Need Jetting Info on '80 GS 550

Hey guys, I need some suggestions for jet size on my bike. I'm building a cafe racer out of my '80 GS 550L (see here: http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=172835 ) and I'm not going to be running the stock airbox.

My bike will have velocity stacks (the K&N pods don't look like they'll fit) and a pretty open exhaust (shorty cans on stock 4 into 2). To complicate things, I am in Loveland, CO so riding elevations are anywhere from 5,000 ft. to 11,000 ft.

I'm wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on what main jet and pilot jet I need to run to get this bike running strong at elevation.

Also, where do you guys get your jets for the CV carbs at?

Any and all help would be great. I'm ordering parts to finish my build and want to get the carbs sorted as soon as possible.

The best part of the CV carbs is how they compensate for changes in elevation, however without the airbox I don't think it works the same way. Let us know what you come up with.
