Rather than hijack someone's thread, it's better to start your own. That way there's no confusion as to who's issue is being addressed.

Carb cleaning is easy just follow the simple instructions on Cliff's site.
You will save a bundle. Its actually fun.
I find using noxious carcinogens fun though.

My offer still to do your carbs still stands. If you sent them to me your carbs would never Florida. I just can’t do the trade. A little dry ice, a cooler and ice cream at the beach should make some extra cash. Gotta love Florida beaches. If you get the money shoot me a PM and we’ll setup something.
FYI: we’ve done thousands of carbs; we know what we’re doing.

It is probably well noted in the how to guide but
Be wary of the disassemly.
Use good quality tools and be ever so careful removing the float bowl pin as you can break off the tower it sits in.

Look here at the spreadsheet showing the stock jet sizes. It's on Basscliff's site.

Hi,
Jet kits are not cheap. See http://www.dynojet.com/jetkits/motorcycle/suzuki.aspx. If you don't mind doing plug chops to read the spark plugs and taking the carbs off and on a few time, you can do it "manually". But the deal with the jet kit is that you get the special jet needles that make the midrange easier to adjust. Are you still running the stock exhaust?
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
