carb heat shields

I think it will restrict the airflow down the center of the engine and between the center jugs..and adding a blanket to the tranny just traps heat in the engine and tranny and heats the oil up a bit more..I cant see the practicality of it myself.Last edited by chuck hahn; 04-24-2011, 10:33 AM.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

At £20 it hardly seems worth the effort (and he might come down in price as he's been trying to knock those out for ages).
And no, from what I've seen they don't nmake any difference to performance.79 GS1000S
