Carbs Quick question
I have the carbs off, should moving the throttle linkage make the throttle slides move? Or is it a vacuum thing? throttle linkage moving freely internal slides not moving.Tags: None

Moving the throttle linkage should make the butterfiles open. The additional air rushing past the (lowered) slides will cause a bit of vacuum (Bernoulli's Principle), which is transferred through the slide to the area above the diaphragm at the top. That it what lifts the slide.
