carb rebuild kit 79 gs750
Anyone know a place to get a carb rebuild kit for a '79 gs750 that has all the right parts? or should i just buy them seperately? any how i see alot of places to buy them but if i am going to spend the dough i wanna be sure i'm getting what i'm paying for.Tags: None

You need orings from http://www.cycleorings.com/. Remember the important intake oring also.
Inspect and clean all the small parts, jets and needles and reuse them. Then you just need new gaskets.

Unless you have broken the tips off the pilot screws (air or fuel), you do not even want to consider getting one of those junk kits.
Too often, the quality of the parts in the kits is so bad, installing the kit will make your bike run worse.
You only need to clean the good parts that you have, replace the individual parts that might be damaged and replace the o-rings with a complete kit from cycleorings.com. The carb o-rings, the intake o-rings and the stainless hardware to hold the tubes back on will cost you less than one carb kit (and you need four kits).
