    1984 GS550L air filter question!

    Hi GSResources,

I did a research on the forum but found nothing that would answer my question.

I'm currently working on a GS550 bobber project and my question is : Since the cars are 2 oval bodies, are there any air filters (other than stock airbox) I can put on?

I've been searching for these but nothing, I think I'll just buy some large oval pods and customize them with the stock rubber boots!

Please help me out! Thank you.

    Frank

Most folks here will tell you the stock airbox is the right way to go since the bike was tuned for it. However, if you find something after searching the Internet just remember that you will have to rejet the bike so be prepared.
