New Fuel Tap?
So I have a 1984 GS 550es. My fuel tap doesn't work so I was looking at replacing it. I've seen the aftermarket ones on Z1, but I'm not sure if the 44mm ones will replace the one I have now. Does anybody know if it'll fit no problem?

Do it right the first time and replace your vacuum petcock with another OEM vacuum petcock. The units on Z1 are not vacuum operated and are not made for your bike. Yours lasted 25 years, get another 25 year model that fits exactly.
Do you understand how a vacuum operated petcock works? I'm not trying to be a smartazz, I am just wondering. My first one was on my 1967 Suzuki T200, and it was great compared to the non-vacuum ones I had before and since that bike. I have never wanted any other kind since.
