    Pilot settings

Well unfortunately when I was taking apart my carbs I never checked how many turns until the it reaches the max. Is there a way to check or adjust this after I put the carbs back together?

Are you referring to the mixture screws, pilot air jets, or the pilot fuel jets? What bike is this for?

If it's the mixture screws then set them to 3 turns out from lightly seated. If it's the fuel jets than I think I saw something like 3/4 of a turn or something. Course if you do a search you'll probably find your answer better.

Edit: Why not put your bike info in your signature block under the User CP area.

I never took measurements of any of them :s. I did read 3/4- 1 1/4 for fuel. Not sure about others though. Bike is a 79 gs850

There is only one other - pilot air screw, which should be set roughly twice as far open as the fuel screw.

        To measure is to know.

I have my fuel screw set for 3/4 turn out and the air screw set for 3 turns out. The only mods on my bike is a K & N filter. I've had it on the dyno and tweaked the setting just to play around with the air/fuel ratios some. But the above setting will get you very close.
