Gs850 top end cuts out help

I have a 1981 gs850 that has air pods and a 4 into 1 exhaust. I put the DJ kit in. Drilled the holes in the slide etc. I have 145 mains and stock pilots. The needles are at stock setting. The bike runs great until you get into the top rpm. Has anyone had this problem?

    Hi Mr. Bsummer8,

Have you tried a plug chop at the affected throttle opening to read the plugs? That way you can tell if you're too lean or too rich and adjust accordingly.
