New gen intake manifold that fits 1100 8Valve

I'm wondering if there is a newer generation intake manifold I can use on my 1982 GS1100G 8 valve. I'm asking, in the hopes of find cheaper or newer rubber.

A lesser important question, is there a different model with longer manifolds that fit my head.

I searched, yet (intake manifold + fit) brought up too many results, and no answers.

    Greetings and Salutations!!

    Hi Mr. Julien,

If you want your bike to run right and run reliably, I would suggest that you fix it right the first time. Sure, the intake boots are are not cheap, but you only have to buy them once every 20 years or so. Check prices on partshark.com, Z1Enterprises.com (call them if you don't see it on their website), and gssuzuki.com. You'll find an extensive list of vendors in your "mega-welcome". So let's get to it.

Let me dump a TON if information on you and share some GS lovin'.

I just stopped by to welcome you to the forum in my own, special way.

If there's anything you'd like to know about the Suzuki GS model bikes, and most others actually, you've come to the right place. There's a lot of knowledge and experience here in the community. Come on in and let me say "HOoooowwwDY!"....

Here is your very own magical, mystical, mythical, mind-expanding "mega-welcome". Thank you for the welcome.

I have already ordered the whole lot from gssuzuki.com (O-rings, manifolds, and mounting hardware). Yet as we all know, knowledge is power. And would still like to know any information pertaining to my questions.

I know that my response "could" sounds ungrateful, it's not. I just want to know my options.

Thanks again; this bike is a mess, and I have lots of questions.

To answer your questions, no, not to my knowledge.

Unless you have mad fabrication skillz, or possess unlimited funds and time, your best/cheapest option is to use genuine Suzuki OEM parts and restore your bike to (mostly) stock condition.

When I read intake manifold on these things, I'm reading where the rubber intake pipes meet the cylinder head. Since it's all one piece why would you want to change it out and have to rework a whole lot of other things?

I'm not as smart on this as a lot of other people but that doesn't make much sense to me. Sorry.
