    quick question (petcock)

    well my petcock finally gave out, in your guys' opinon should i install new aftermarket or do a rebuild kit?

    Neither. Purchase an OEM and ride it another 30 years.

      Depends on what kind of bike and the cost of an OE petcock. Some of the early GS bikes have really expensive petcocks, so if I had one of those I'd rebuild.

          I put a rebuild kit in my '79 gs850 it works terrible it wont seal its always still a slow leak when turned away from prime. Get an OE petcock if you can afford it.

            Thank again guys, and yes i have an older gs. i'll have to put it in my sig. But it sounds like i should just shell out the money for a new OE.

              i got one on ebay for 43.99 total. havent seen it yet but ad said it was a suzuki part and new. saw another on there from the same co. but it now price was 44 or something like that.
