    Project Frankenpipes

Yesterday i finally got the time to take the different sets of 1000 pipes i have collected from parts and project bikes and frankensteined up a good set for the 78 1000 C. I cut the good headers off the rotted cans and fit everything to the bike and then did the same with the mufflers. Welded them in place while on the bike all bolted tightly. Let them cool a bit and then finish welded them all the way around. I polished everything before i mocked them up. Once all was welded i ground a few high spots that were hitting the heat shields and reinstalled on the bike. I think they turned out very well....

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
