petcock 1980
I have a petcock from a 1980 Gs1000. No lever, just a slot for a screw driver I suppose. How do I use it. It rotates 360 degrees in either direction. Where is prime and run?

Prime is when the slot is facing up and down. run is when it is facing from left to right.I didnt do it I swear !!

Info on how the petcock works is in the factory service manual (imaging that). Free download from basscliff's site. One trick with that petcock is the need for a pulse of vacuum in order for fuel to flow when set to prime.Ed
