    Petcock, could be simple

I broke my petcock on my 83 gs550e. What is interchangeable?

Easiest would be to find the petcock part # on www.bikebandit.com and cross reference it. Copy and paste it to their search bar, then on the next screen click "fits machines" or whatever it's called.

Short answer: a good many Suzuki petcocks will fit.

BUT, ... if you want to order a petcock, please ignore Bike Bandit and use ANY of the other vendors. They are ALL cheaper, except for Alpha Sports.

Bike Bandit will also mess with your mind as they are the ONLY ONES that don't use official Suzuki part numbers.

I found this on some guy's website:

CLICK HERE to download a PDF guide for the Alpha-Sports site cross-reference.
        (Note: If
the newer part numbers return no results, use the older, superseded numbers.)

The OEM part number for your petcock is 44300-43470.

But it seems the petcock for your bike is NLA. So I would suggest giving Z1Enterprises a call <www.z1enterprises.com> and see what they have available. You'll have to use an aftermarket petcock and possibly an adapter plate. They should know what you need.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

        BassCliff
