CV Carbs without air box

    Yes it does.Rtk-Rch says he got one in by removing all the engine mounting bolts and somehow getting it in.I can't see how but.......

      Well I got the Air box in without pulling the engine. Remove ALL but the bottom motor mount, remove the cam chain tensioner, pull the oil line, remove the carb boots, and do a little prying...goes right in. I did remove the battery and the box to slide the air box farther back to instal the carb's.
      Sure like the pods as far as ease of getting the carb rack in and out, but I hope to be able to set the air box in, put the stock stuff back in the carb's and finally enjoy riding again.

        OK I can accept that.Lots of stuff to get out of the way but still easier than pulling the engine.
