found a cracked piece in my carb #2. what do i do?

hi, i found this while cleaning the carbs of my 750.
what do i do? do i replace it or is it ok?

my guess is that it is not ok, i have an other set lying in my part bike.
do i need to swap it? i see no way to unplug this needle?

That's a first - never seen one like that before. I would stick a fine pin up the hole and run some solder in to the crack. Pin is to stop solder blocking the hole. Might even be ok as it is but soldering would be easy to do.

the only solder i have is for electrical circuits, would that do the trick?

great, i think it worked indeed.
anyway i don t think that part is heavily stressed at all.
i wonder how it cracked, PO maybe, cos i am cautious!

that part is the fuel pick up for the choke circuit. When the choke is off it doesn't do anything so it shouldn't effect warm running.
