I am to the point of having to replace the carb on 1981 GS650L. I live in Kansas City area and am having lots of trouble finding one (not surprised). Any help on where I might locate a new carb?

Check the parts numbers on Alphasports to see what other bikes used that carb. Then hunt down a set on eBay to cannibalize for parts, carb bodies, etc. -

Most of the parts that are NLA via OEM we must scour Ebay or Craigslist. We also have "Parts Wanted" and "Parts for Sale" sections here in the forum.
