Air Box boot replace
Hey i'm trying to replace a boot on the airbox side. how do you get the inside band out without trashing it,or do you always need a new one? This is on my 83 gs 1100 e. Thanks for any helpTags: None

Replaced mine not too long ago, those rings bend pretty easily, no break in the ring, prying only bent them, but I had new rings and boots so no biggie. Those boots were as hard as nails, and unlike the GS1000 relatively inexpensive, so it was a no brainer.
Boot, part no. 13881-49021 (revised part number) $8.50,
Ring, part no. 13885-47030, $3.95
Got them through Boulevard Suzuki
