i am looking for a 4 to 1 header for my 82 gs 1100g.no one makes a header for this application any more per mac and vance & hines. i did find out that the e model head piece is the same on both and i would imagine that it shouild not be to tough to adapt the rest of the pipe.the carbs i have are 36mm with astage 3 kit and pods. so my questions are:
i can purchase an e model pro drag pipe for about 200.00 but don't know if there are any problems runing one on the street. it looks like i can adapt it to the g easy enough. and i love the look of the drag pipes going strait under the bike rather than turned up like the street pipes.i am guessing that bumps and turning right could be an issue.
i can also purchase an e model head piece for 125.00 then take it to a mufler shop have them bend a pipe and attach a mufler to it. any sugestions as to what kind of muffler to use if i go this route.
