    We are not supposed to even have one TENTH of a millimeter, let alone "a few more" of them.

    The range for the clearance is only five hundreths of ONE millimeter, that is 1/20 of ONE millimeter, actually less than the thickness of a piece of paper.

    Yes, we're talking small clearances and small tolerance, so it is VERY important to get it right.

      ok my feeler gauges say example .005 then below that says w/e in mm..just a crappy "oem" brand set from autozone

        That means you have INCH feelers with metric approximations.

        You can use that set, but the .005" is WAY too large, you have to go down to the .003" to use as your max clearance, and on down to the .0015" for your minimum.

        If you don't have anything smaller than .005, you need another set of feelers.
