kerker exhaust, replacement baffles??
I blew the baffles out of my kerker exhaust system the other day and i have no idea how to tell what replacement parts i need. any ideas??? I have a 1983 gs750e. thanksTags: None

Did you lose the actual metal part? or just the stuffing? If it's just the fluff, you can use either the re packing they sell at cycle shops, or wrap it with fiberglass batting.
If it's the metal part, you should contact Kerker.

from what i can tell every thing is gone. i can look down the exhaust and see all the way to where it curves towards the engine.

You need to get in contact with MAC exhaust. They make replacement baffles that are compatible with Kerker systems. http://www.macperformance.com/store/...roduct_ID=1611
It might also be possible to order a replacement baffle through the current owners of the Kerker name, Supertrapp. http://www.supertrapp.com/

thank you very much. i have never been very mechanical. so trying to fix anything myself is a pain in the butt. but i got to learn sometime. lol.

Where you able to come up with something? I am in the same situation with my GS650G. I have the kerker 4 to 1 and also lost the metal baffle and packing. Does anyone know how to get the end cap off? Thanks.
