    Berryman's carb dip

Does anyone know the shelf life of this cleaner? When should it be replaced? Or does it just keep on cleaning infinitely?

    Thanks,

    Larry

Berryman's has worked for me on three different sets of carbs, soaked for a day on each carb. I know some guys run their Berryman's through some cheesecloth to remove all of the contaminants. But, I'd assume after paying only $17 at Walmart for it, that after awhile, recycle it properly and buy a new can.

I use it for a few sets of carbs, but once it starts getting gunky, I filter out the big stuff and set it aside to soak greasy bolts, stuck parts and other "non-carb" pieces where I am not worried about the gunk

I have one can that I have had for over six years, it still does a fine job. Or at least what's left of it.

Yeah, as you remove stuff from the 'dip', a little bit of fluid stays with the part and gets washed down the drain when you rinse the part.
That has lowered the level in the can to about the half-way mark, so it no longer covers a carb body, but it still works just fine.

I have gotten a second can, so now I have a "dirty" dip and a "clean" dip.

I like the idea of a dirty dip and a clean dip as my only can is "dirty".
So I will buy a new "clean" dip.
Also worried that this may get taken of the market or formula changed due to some environmental concerns.(there are places you can't get this as we speak)
