One question is I am after an exhaust system 4 into 2 for the GS850G. I have found the MAC exhaust that will fit but I believe they only come with the turn out mufflers that dont look too good. I am trying to keep bike as original as possible. I do not want 4 into 1 system. Second hand originals are hard to find and too expensive I think to ship to AUS. Any suggestions most welcolme.

I have a set of original well used GS850G stock pipes available, but you are right. Shipping to Aus from Washington state US would be more than they're worth.
What's on the bike now? If it's old beat up stock pipes, you might take them to a muffler shop and have new headers made to fit a pair of after market slip on megaphone style mufflers.Last edited by Guest; 11-24-2011, 05:19 AM.

The pipes on the bike were rusty looking 4 into 1. I have had one company in Brisbane Australia a local motorcycle exhaust shop give me a quote. The make the headers and exhaust from scratch. Price $1200 AUD for stainless or chrome and guess what that includes fitting.GED

I have what I think is a Mac exhaust on my project bike. It's a 4 piece system with removable mufflers. I wanted something different so I adapted some reverse cone mufflers to the head pipes with an elbow to turn them up a bit. These are a little loud but there are other aftermarket mufflers that may look and sound more like originals. This will cost more, but it'll give you more options.
