    Throttle sticking as such !

Well... I managed to re build my carbs hell yea !!!
But... When I rev her to say 4000 the engine takes sometime to slowly drop back to idle speed.

Is this air entering the carbs ?
Can it be anything else ?
It may be the carb boots, what's the best stuff to seal them ?

Did you lube the throttle linkages where they pass thru each body? Are the intake boot orings replaced and not pinched in between the boot and head? Cracks in the intake boots? At an idle, spray some ether on the intake boots and see if the RPMs go up...that will tell if thefres any leaks there. Are the throttle cables lubed and routed correctly? Any gunk in the throttle handle where it turns in the switch housing?

I wouldnt bother trying to "seal" carb intake boots..I would buy new ones and be done with them for the next 30 years.

No I did not lube the linkages.. I never removed the carbs from the links/rack.

Shell give them a spray and find out... Anyone know where I can buy new boots from ???

If you never removed the carbs from the rack, you had to have missed cleaning a few spots and replacing old o-rings. From your description, you've got air leaks holding your rpm high.
Boots are available through several suppliers that BassCliff has links to on his welcome aboard page (y'know, bikecliff page?).

            Check it out.

There are no shortcuts when cleaning carbs on these bikes. Many have tried and many have failed. You need to do the job properly before looking at anything else. Just squirting some cleaner round isn't 'properly'.

I stripEd down the carbs, re-jetted, all new jets etc etc. I could not see the benefits of removing from the rack... What o rings are we talking about ? Maybe I missed them.... ! I did much more than spray about 4 hours of work !!

You didn't strip the carbs and clean them properly if you didn't pull them from the rack and you didn't see those O rings. Like I said, there are no shortcuts.

You won't need carb kits or new jets - just the o rings

You'll see the orings when you pull the needle jet out, each of the fuel connectors between the carbs, under the intake boots, and around the mixture screws. If you did not pull them off the rack, then you did not get into the interior passages correctly.

Failure to follow the recommended procedures on this site will equate to your bike running like crap.

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like I didn't do a good job. I will pull apart. What o rings do I need to order ? I have replaced the o rings on the needles, what numbers on the diagrams do I need purchase ???

I think I just need the o rings for fuel connectors between carbs ??
