Get carb O-ring kit and intake boot O-rings.
90% of the time this is all you need. If you need gaskets or pilot plugs, try Z1 Enterprises.Ed

Hi,
Yes, just get yourself a bunch of new O-rings and follow the instructions in Mr. Nessism's carb rebuild tutorial. There is also a 450-specific guide on my little website. There's no need to buy expensive (but junky) aftermarket "carb kits". Just clean everything properly and reassemble with new O-rings. If you do need to replace a worn jet, needle, or seal, get OEM parts because they work the best. Check the maintenance lists in your "mega-welcome" for the other things your bike needs.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff

+1 to all of the above, and don't forget to clean your carbs thoroughly!
I mean thoroughly as in dip in Berryman's or whatever you can get where you are (I used Yamaha Yamalube carb cleaner over here in Aus) and make sure you get every little passage and orifice clean as a whistle. Do it once and do it properly1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie
