    intake woe!

hi i have a 1980 gs1000 chain drive can anybody tell me which intake manifolds i should order?mine have no part number.thanx

If she's a genuine 80 and not a late registered 79 (so she should have CV carbs) the intakes you want are part no: 13110-49010.

Good time to replace the O rings as well.

You have VM carbs and she's a 79 model - unless somebody has put big VMs on there. Check for that is the big nut on the underside of the float bowl.

Intakes for VM26s / 28s (the standard carbs) are part number 13110-45010

Don't worry about that, most of us would not wish that on our worst enemies.
