    84GS50ef carb ?

    I just bought this bike and am unfamiliar with the setup. If someone could send me a diagram of where the fuel/vacuum lines are routed . A pic even better or point me to an online manual . Thanks

    Hi there, your signature states you have a GS550FE !!!! and your post is asking for advice on a GS50ef , Are yours the twin port carbs ?

      I don't think Basscliff will mind if I do this and he'll definitely do it again anyway but go here and find GS maintenance nirvana. Everything from service manuals to tips on doing all sorts of things.

          my bike an GS550 EF twin port carbs starts with carb cleaner and I just cleaned the carbs I suspect a vacuum leak so many ports on the carbs open not sure what goes there. Thanks to all . It is running so not all is lost.

            looked at the 83 gs550e manual . Are the carbs the same as an 84ef?

              Figured out my carbs are California . That's why all the hoses. How can I ditch all the plumbing ?
