    Tucker, if you know someone with a wideband (a.k.a. snuffer) such as an LM-1 or LM-2 tuning is much easier, faster, and more accurate than using the plug chop method. And it only takes one set of plugs.
    Just a thought, since you will need to tune all 3 sections of the carbs. Mains, needles and pilots. In that order, btw.

      Thanks for the advice, working on them know. Looking into new ideas and style I like for the end of the exhaust. Fine tuning the carbs now.

        might want to get that exhaust in order first as that will change your tuning.

        and kool-aid, the vm carbs are tuned bottom up not top down
