    Alternative petcock solution

Anyone ever consider using one of these with a non-vacuum petcock to simulate all the functionality of the original?

Thought it was an interesting idea.

My only concern would be that it might restrict fuel flow.

It would be easy enough to measure the flow rate.

AHH..I just did the carb on a coworkers scooter then other day and it had an electrically actuated shut off valve upstream of the petcock.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

If it has at least a 3/16 or 1/4 inch hole then that would be sufficient.
