Anyone ever consider using one of these with a non-vacuum petcock to simulate all the functionality of the original?

My only concern would be that it might restrict fuel flow. -

AHH..I just did the carb on a coworkers scooter then other day and it had an electrically actuated shut off valve upstream of the petcock.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.Comment
